Sea Wool sponges and the sponge pieces below are typically not bleached unless otherwise requested, yellow and silk sponges are typically bleached a golden yellow. Bleaching one way or another does not affect the quality or durability of the sponge, it only changes its color. The Silk sponges are typically used in crafts such as pottery and ceramics as they are a harder sponge that is excellent for these applications. The sea wools are for finishing and the softer smoother applications. The bags of pieces are made up of sea wool, yellow, silk, and grass cuts. We highly recommend the bags of pieces as you get a lot of sponge for the money and it is definately one of our best sellers!
