All of our sponges are direct from the Gulf of Mexico at Tarpon Springs, Florida, known across the globe as the best location for natural sea sponges.  Currently these waters have between 80 and 90 percent of the world's sponge supply and the quality is second to none.  All of our sponges are fresh from the historic sponge boats based at the docks here in Tarpon Springs.  They are processed by the boats, then dried, and reprocessed in our warehouses where they are all hand cleaned and processed, hand cut and manicured, and sorted by quality.  If bleaching is performed this is done as it has been done for a very long time, and the result is a quality and beauty of a sponge that you cannot find anywhere else.  Our bath sponges are the best, period.  All of our harvesting leaves the sponges on the bottom to grow again and be reharvested later.  We take care in the environment and our waters.
